I'm making spaced repetition flash cards to study for NAPLEX and Virginia State Law. I already have a deck called "Top 200". I plan to make another deck for calculations and VA State Law. I should have those within 2-3 weeks. The cards use a cool program called Anki.

1. Download the free program Anki here http://ankisrs.net/index.html
2. Open the program. Click on File, then Download, then Shared Deck.
3. Search for "Top 200" and download it. Later I will have "VA Rx Law Exam" and "Rx Calculations".

My personal philosophy in life is that there should be free, useful services for the masses. That's why I'm sharing all this. However, these decks take hours, sometimes days to make but the guy that made Anki spent years. Support him at http://ankisrs.net/support/

You need to download the program and then open it. At the bottom, you will see Icon Download, click on that and type" Top 200" and select it. They are cards and you can review dose, brand and generic.
Hope this helps.

Pharmacy Kid,

Thank you for sharing. I was jsut wondering if we could add some information like dosage form and counseling to the drugs? If so, how could I do that?
Thanks a lot.

If you've never used Anki before, view the Youtube tutorials

Pharmacy Kid and Komalrg2000...thank you so much for your help...Patiently trying harder to get through with this technology...now I am in...waiting eagerly for more wits from you pharma kid...calculations and on....your generosity will be divinely rewarded....for you help people like me who can barely afford review classes...

"VA Rx Law Exam" deck ETA 7 days.

As for the calculations deck, I don't think I'll be able to complete that. It's hard b/c in order to be effective, the numbers in the problem have to change every time. I don't know how to program the deck like that.

Alright, so it turns out I wasn't able to make a law deck, but I did make a calculations deck.

The deck will be called "Rx Calculations." An important thing to keep in mind is that the deck is based on MY weaknesses and strengths. I didn't make cards on things I already am comfortable on. So what you can do is remove cards you don't need and add problems/formulas that you are weak on.
