Frequency of Letter of Recommendations?

What's your opinion on asking for multiple letter of recommendations for multiple internships? I've recently asked a professor for a letter of recommendation for a spring internship I'm interested in and now I also want to ask him for a letter of a winter internship I'm interested in? Should I look for someone else or does it really not matter because he can just send the letter he already wrote to this other internship? Do you guys have any insight on this?

Ok. I just wanted to know if its a huge hassle for recommenders if the person asking for a LOR keeps going back to them

You could ask for a general letter to be sent to interfolio, and then send it from there for any future need. Or just ask him to update the date on the previous letter and send that.
