Freshman Year :l

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Well, it's good you got the wakeup call now, instead of when it's too late to repair your GPA. With straight As, your GPA could be up to 3.5 in a year. By the time you'd be ready to apply, you'd be at a competitive level if you keep working hard.

Being in a club won't help much, unless you get a leadership position. Keep voluunteering. Consider seeking a research experience eventually. But don't be distracted by partying and extracurriculars when your priority needs to be a high GPA. A steep upward trend will look good on your record.

Consider your dreams unshattered.
