I am a freshmen at a top 25 liberal arts college. My GPA for my first semester was a 3.57. I didn't work and I just joined a couple of clubs. Second semester, I am going to start volunteering/shadowing, start a pre-dental club, tutor high school students, and mentor elementary kids. Does anyone have any suggestions for anything else I should do for my extra-curric my second semester? Am I doing well enough grade wise?

Those EC's look good. Since you're starting on all of this predent stuff so early in your undergrad career, I'm assuming you plan to be competitive for top dental schools eventually. If that's the case, start raising your gpa. Don't settle on a 3.6 just because people say "you'll get in". If you're aiming for the top, you might as well start working toward it. I didn't care about grades during my first year, and it set me back a little. Don't make the same mistake. Shoot for straight A's starting now.

You're doing great. Just keep it up and stay consistent with your gpa. Good start on your EC's as well.
