So I get an email from my school, which was a forwarded email to one of my teachers from Walgreens that they had openings in a southern state (im in PA), so my professor forwarded it to our class since we're graduating this year. I replied and got a call from a supervisor down there saying the process was to go to Walgreens.com to apply and rank his district as number 1 and we spoke about a specific city so I put that as preference 1 and submitted. He told me after applying to let him know and he'd call me the following Monday, but I emailed, texted, called and never heard back... Weeks later it wont even let me apply to any other grad intern positions because I already have an active application with only 1 city selected... I should have ranked 2 other cities down there in that district, but didn't really know what I was doing at first. Is there really no way to apply to a bunch of different districts and locations? I'm completely open to relocation. It doesn't even give you an option to delete an application...

And does anyone know if LTC places hire grad interns or should I wait to be licensed before apply to long term care jobs like Omnicare and pharmerica?

LTC only hires licensed professionals. You would have to graduate first and apply as you're studying for your boards.

There should be an email contact on the walgreens careers page that you email after submitting your application. That HR person will forward your information to the respective DMs. You can also change your location preferences on the application if you want to put a new location before contacting the HR guy i mentioned. I'd say if this DM hasn't gotten back to you, pick new locations and mov eon.

So if you don't email someone after submitting, no-one ever sees your application?

It's a seller's market out there...you have to do what you have to do to get people's attention. There are probably hundreds of applications; no DM has time for that.

So there's really no way to apply all other the USA to Walgreens since you can't apply to more than one district at a time? Should you just keep switching district preferences every week?
