Hello all,

Recently I received a Fulbright grant and I plan on applying to schools (MD) this summer, although I am concerned about timing. Unfortunately my MCAT date is July 30th and I'll be leaving the country in early to mid-September.

Has anyone been abroad while applying? or, is anyone aware of how schools interview such applicants? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I called a few school because I was going to study abroad while applying, and although I did not go abroad, the schools I asked said it would not be an issue to conduct an interview over the phone or via a webmeeting.

I would just call the school to which you're applying, hope this helps!

i bet each school differs in their policies. i'd call them up and ask.

A friend of mine did this and I think scheduled all of her interviews in a string over winter break...so not a lot of time to see your family back in the States but a whole lot of additional traveling.
