How many semesters of bio lab are needed?

They require a full year...why is this a poll?
 
My understanding is that it's a full year if you have like a 1 unit lab attached to your bio classes throughout the year. however, if you go to like a UC, and the lab classes are separate, then taking 1 bio lab that is 4 units would be equivalent to taking a year of 1 unit labs. So in that case, you'd only take one bio lab course, but it's all lab.
 
The bio lab's an independent 2-credit 1 semester class. Another 2 or 3-credit lab needed?
 
Just take two semester-long labs (or a year-long sequence). I don't think medical schools would be delighted to debate the technicalities of your biology lab credits, so just cover your bases.
