I can't say about what schools will accept (if there are any questions you can usually just send them the syllabus and it doesnt appear to generally be a big deal) but, although you cover a really great majority of orgo I/II, there are still some important things you'll miss (based on the syllabus) that could help for the MCAT. Still not a lot missed or big deal. If you are only applying to schools that allow you to substitute with biochem, why not.

Thank you! But like med schools would accept this as a semester of organic Chem? It dosent needs to be organic 1

Why do you need to only take one semester of organic? And it also does look like you'll miss orgo material that will be on the MCAT based on the syllabus.

And some schools if not a lot of them do require two years of chemistry including one year of organic.

I can self study the material for the Mcat.
Most of the schools I checked said only 1 semester of organic is required. If I need organic two, I can’t just take it in my senior year.
My question is whether “fundamentals or organic Chem” will count as “organic 1” for med schools that require only one semester of organic?

I’m only looking to take one semester of organic chemistry for medical school. (Will substitute organic 2 with biochem, or just take at a later date if I’m required to).
Would Fundamentals of organic chemistry—which is a one semester class—count? Or do I have to just take organic 1?

This is 100% school dependent. Check with MSAR

It depends on the school. I would email or call the admissions counselor. It will not hurt you to take more than the required courses. After all, minimum performance yields minimum results, as the saying goes.

There are topics that are not covered in the course that you will need to know for the MCAT. Be sure to be aware of this deficit so that you will not be surprised later.
