nah, they just take a slightly more civilized tone. This stuff never ends - just read peer-reviewed journals, and you'll see people with PhDs saying things that don't sound terrible but just rake their competition over the coals, "Previous experiments (Fizzle, et al 2002) failed to consider the possibility......" and such. It's hilarious sometimes.
