This might be kind of a ridiculous question, but I was wondering what type of stuff to put for further information that is not covered in AMCAS in some secondary applications that ask for it? I was actually in Boston during the Marathon Bombing and helped out at a hospital in the area for a few days after, but I took the MCAT 12 days later, and I feel that this definitely impacted my studying and potentially dropped my score a little bit lower than I was hoping for. Is this something I can mention? Would it make me sound like I'm trying to find a cop out reason? Any feedback would be helpful!

Curious about this space as well. Will have between 1-4 manuscripts submitted for publication between the time I submitted my AMCAS (June 10) and when I get secondaries, and curious if whether or not this is a good place to mention that.
