I searched and could not find this question asked, so I apologize if it is already there.

When we are asked in an interview what further questions we have for the school, what are you guys asking? Honestly, I have figured out all I want to know about the school before hand by reading on the internet and talking to current students. I don't want to say that I don't have any questions, so what are you all asking during the interview?

I usually ask about the location "what do people do to relax in ____" or "in your oppinion what are the best clinical sites in the area?"

If you can, ask questions throughout the interveiw relevant to whatever the interviewer is saying, this makes the interview more of a conversation and less of an interrogation 🙂.

you also mignt try to get more detail on unique curriculum.

I agree with the poster Salazar above. Doing everything you can to keep it conversational will be to your advantage. If you arent engaging them, they cant engage you and it will turn into an interrogation. Boring and stressful. If you have a good sense of humor, definitely use it. It always works to your advantage.

You will have questions when you visit the school and get an orientation before the interview. Guaranteed.

If you don't have any questions, you could just politely state that the questions that you may have has been answered during the tour and thank them again for the great opportunity and taking their times to interview you.

At few occassions, I asked about the school's future direction in research if there hasn't been anything. But make sure this is not a sensitive topic at the school. Or else just stick with the thank you finishing line.
