Hey
I already submitted my amcas app, but I did not fill out the classes I intend to take senior year. I have taken all my pre-reqs already. Do I need to alert amcas or individual med schools about this? thanks for any help

Good question. I am inclined to think that med schools would want to know if you are continuing your coursework this year (especially if your current transcripts indicate that you have not received your degree yet). I would call AMCAS and see how you can amend your application. I think they only allow minor changes to the app once you certify and submit, and I think adding coursework might be more than just a minor change, even though it won't affect your current AMCAS GPA or anything. If you can't add the info on your AMCAS app, you might have to send a letter to each school with your proposed course schedule for this upcoming academic year, so that they can take your continued coursework into consideration if they want.

Basically, call AMCAS on this one. If they can't help, call a couple of the schools you are applying to and ask them what they would prefer. I hope this helps.

I did not enter them because the schools know that many people by the end of summer would change their schedules anyway and won't be able to update it on AMCAS application. Since you do not have any grades for these classes yet, nobody cares that you are going to take.
