I did a search but couldn't find an answer to this.  I was wondering if med schools take into account your upcoming, but not completed EC's.  For instance, if I'm applying in June and had a new EC that started that month and would continue for the next year, could I put that down and would adcom's give it any weight?  Especially if it is a really strong EC.  Or if I were to do a summer research program the summer I apply (after I submit my AMCAS early June) and list that? 
And going farther into the future - if I get an interview invite and have took up a new EC since submitting my AMCAS, would I be able to update the med school and would adcoms consider it along with all my ones on my AMCAS?
