Future of Anesthesia

Hello everyone, from reading quite a bit about anesthesiology I find that it seems quite interesting and seems like a residency that Id be definitely interested in going into. However, from reading through multiples thread, its seems like CRNA's are in a way "taking over" anesthesiology. It almost makes me think whats the point of going into anesthesiology after going through medical school. Whats the future hold for anesthesiologists?

Are you in Medical School yet? Don't put the cart ahead of the horse. You need to get into Medical School and through MS 1 before "worrying" about a specialty- any specialty.
