And if you really are going to be busy for a day or two, that is fine, life happens, but for 4, 5, 6 or more days.. that gets ridiculous.

I will be watching out for player participation in my future games, I am not doing a 3 lynch vote count. Participate or risk being mod killed. If you can't participate, then do not sign up. If you have a few days in which you are going to be busy, send me a PM with a heads up, I will be fine with that. I am not ok with a player having an entire game of only lynch votes and off topic chatter.

I agree.. This is a serious issue.

This is partly why I like the idea of smaller games, with more active players.
I also like the idea of charging $$.. make people commit. :meanie:

I have almost considered starting a list of players that have consistently been inactive and banning them from signing up. I am seriously considering just not playing any more because people don't participate. WW is not fun any more, it is frustrating with the lack of player participation. Might just mod instead from now on, then I have control over the slackers.. :meanie:

I thought she had really turned a corner recently being a bit more active (and it was fun when she was super active in Greek Mythology for example).

But in my game she didn't post much but at least sent in her votes and role stuff..

Then this game she just disappeared.
I liked FH participating. 🙁

I might run a game with my each day "randomly kill the 3 or 5 lowest poster" idea. Then I can have more players because there will be a wolf death AND a lynch AND a random mod killing.
I can hire a dead person to monitor quality of posts. If they are just "fluffing" they don't count :meanie:

It might not encourage quality, but at least it will force people to participate or die.

Actually I like this idea. I can mod kill whomever I don't like the way they participate...... More fun for mods...

I am going to design a game now... I am inspired.

Yes well when she disappears, she disappears... and the thing I do not like is she does post other places so it is not like she is not active on the forum... she just chooses not to post in the game....

Nah. I remember The Silence role (roles, right? weren't there a few of you?). I just know that you tend to get silenced early and often. And then gripe later about how you're always silenced early. 😉

I wonder, can I hold a spot for someone? She was watching/stalking/etc during the last games and is really excited about playing. She's not pre-anything (social worker, actually) and really wanted to play. So she's going to make a SDN name--if she hasn't already. I'll text her now and tell her there's one a-brewin.

Any idea on when? 🙂

Went ahead and added my DC comics game to the list. Not that the numbering really makes sense anymore, but I put a 23 by it anyway. And I would like a comod for that, and maybe I could run it before my Portal game.

There have definitely been some roles where you could only post once (in my games for sure) per day.

I wish you could get the role in my SDN game (I think it was the minnerbelle character), where you had to post at least 5 lines of text or something in every post.

see, when I first came around, I was the king of TLDR; hence the original complaint on me was verbal diarrhea... I still do TLDR in the SPF, but in the lounge and these pre-vet WW games, I have decided to do more short posts, but i end up getting a high volume of short posts... and thus I still have verbal diarrhea... more like verbal urinary incontinence... if you gave me that 5 lines of text role, it really wouldn't be that hard for me... but allowing me to only have 1 post a day (which was the role I gave Trematode in my WW game as sephiroth, which fit her perfectly so no one really noticed, plus i didn't let her lynch vote, so again, not out of the ordinary for her) would be painful for me... i'd probably just stop caring about the game honestly...
 
Edited... Book of Mormon can be a fun game, but Escalla really wants to co-mod with me, and we found a common enjoyment of Doctor Who...

And Kaydubs, let me know when/if you want to work on battle of the bands... i've done some work on it, but this is going to be a beast of a game and i like your evil ideas from what i've seen in your last two games :meanie:

I am horrible at creating lists of my top "x" favorites, but I can throw a list together. Just not sure I remember all of the games. My favorite was definitely the vet school game, cause "I got the caaaaarrrr." :laugh:

seems I'm the only person to have listed lounge games so far to Lissa... but those lounge boys (JDH and DocE) sure do know how to design a good game...

Yes, I did. But I still can't remember most of them, had to look at them to recall my role and some of them I couldn't remember if I played in them or not. Yeah, my memory sucks.

I have all my spreadsheets from the games I've played...some of them just have the list of players and my role 'cause I died early, and some have tons and tons of notes.
