A werewolf game, presented by SportGrebies (Sports4lyfe? GrebePonies?) @grebes4lyfe This game will begin August 13. If anyone has a game ready to run now, they're welcome to run it before this one begins. We can accommodate as many players as sign up. Minimum 17 please! Newcomers welcome...

Pretty sure I made it clear I was planning to run mine second week of August. That's ok I guess 🙁

Sorry 🙁 I typically don't read back in threads, I just saw someone mention Birds and grebes and I have been trying to run this thing for a couple months now, but other people were ready before us. She couldn't run this week because she's moving.

I mean I'm not going to lie I find it pretty rude to find a comment about you, see that I've been planning to play my game this time and that it's been on the schedule now for a while, and just ignore that to put sign ups for a game you don't plan to run for well over a week. That's you're prerogative though.
It appears this is more of a first come first served kind of deal? I'm getting home to the states tomorrow but I guess I'll just table putting more planning into my game 🙁

Well to be fair you didn't update the list saying you had a particular date in mind, so she would have had to go back to Monday's post to see you were planning for mid-August, which is vague anyway.

I've reread this several times and I don't understand the first sentence (grammatically). I think I'm not understanding the intonation you put into it or something, because it doesn't make sense the way I'm reading it. I'm sorry you feel like I went under the table with this, but like I said in my previous post, I did not see that you had a date in mind, or even that you were at all planning to run a game anytime soon.

I'm not a malicious person and don't just intentionally go behind people's backs to piss them off, and I welcome you to keep working on your game and finish it up so it can run during our next WW drought.

I’d love to help with a cow game. My mother, a lifelong militant vegetarian, told me on the phone last night that she just learned there are different kinds of cows for beef and for dairy. She told me the dairy cows are all spotted, and the beef cows are solid color. And then she asked why I was laughing.
 
I was traveling back to WI on Tuesday from a week with my bf and sat next to an older gentleman for one of my flights. We got to talking and turns out he was a dairy farmer. He started asking if I wanted to go into LA and I had to be like “ehhhhh, not my thing,” even though he was wanting to convince me to be a dairy vet. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I think cows are gross :laugh:

I don't know what they were planning tbh, does sound different from a general cow game though lol
