I graduated from pharmacy school 10 years ago and am reciprocating my license to Georgia. Today is Jan 11, 2016 and I am taking my required wet lab Jan 15, 2016. (Yes Georgia BOP now requires ALL applicants to take the wet lab) When I started searching for what material to study and basically found none, I started getting really freaked out...felt very in the dark. So I'm am going to share what I have found so no-one has to freak out like I did. Fingers crossed that I pass this practical this Friday!

Wet lab:
1) Review exam structure:

or
https://gpha.memberclicks.net/assets/docs/gpha/ga%20pharmacist%20practical%20exam%20manual.pdf
disregard page 30 on isotonicity, not likely to be on practical

2)practical skills refresher review course offered by GPhA various locations/ times per year
http://www.gpha.org/practicalskills
3) utilize the following website
http://pskills.pharm.ku.edu/ios/html5/html5-displab/index.html
click around on"prescription drop off area", "prescription filling area", "compounding area", etc etc.
I really really liked the interactive error and omissions at http://pskills.pharm.ku.edu/ios/html5/html5-eorev/index.cfm (click on "click versions)
4) review your top 200 drugs and practice compounding calculations including alligation and aliquots

Hey, Surfergirl26!! I hope all went well for you in January! I was at there too! I was SO nervous and wasn't sure if I passed or not when I was done. But, fortunately, I passed! Hope you did too! I was not so lucky on the GA MPJE...I am scheduled to retake it on April 8th. Thank you for the information...I will look into it to help me prepare.

here is the contact at the GA BOP..Itovia Evans.....her email is [email protected]

In case you still need assistance....you will need to go online to nabp.net, sign in, and have your NAPLEX score and/or proof of your graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy transferred to GA BOP. Of course, there is a fee for that...there is always a fee for everything! Once GA has your info confirmed (can take a while), you will be able to register for the GA practical/wet lab. You will also need to register with nabp.net for the GA MPJE. I noticed someone posted email for the contact person at GA BOP (Ivone??)...she is good to get back to you quickly via email. Ask her your questions.

yes I passed the wet lab and got my license about 17 days later 🙂 yeah! My friend took the MPJE and said it was so hard, asking lots of nuclear questions...apparently i was lucky on my MPJE i thought all my questions were super basic...i guess its luck of the draw!...good thing your taking the MPJE now...heard the MPJE is going to increase in number of questions and price real soon across all 50 states.
