Gap year job in Dublin?

Does anyone living in Dublin have any suggestions for gap year jobs in Dublin. I want something that can help fill out my med-school applications. Jobs in hospitals, research, anything like that. I think I would be better served to do hospital jobs or some kind of clinical caring jobs. For example, I tried to look on the internet for jobs a healthcare assistant but finding such jobs in Dublin over the internet does not seem very easy to do. There does not seem to be a centralized service for hospital jobs like there is in the UK.

I plan on getting a student work visa from Bunac so that shouldnt be a problem. This visa, however, is only good for 4 months.

Any suggestions on what to do or where to look would be helpful.
