Gap year(s) ideas for a psychology major?

I'm a Psychology major-neuroscience emphasis and statistics minor. I'm looking at one to two gap years. Interested in clinical and translational research but not ok with doing experiments in mice (personal preference). I'm curious what other non-biology/chemistry majors pursued in their gap years.
