Gavin is Dinonuggets: I have proof

Apparently Dinonuggets and GavinC are the same person. I got suspicious when Dinonuggets remembered details about a conversation Gavin and I had a year ago. But Dinonuggets only signed on 7 weeks ago. And he claimed to be new to SDN. So I got suspicious and checked his past messages. What I found was that Dinonugget's posts immediately followed Gavin's posts. And we are talking back to back posts within minutes of one another. Furthermore, Dinonugget has complimented Gavin repeatedly in his posts, and they agree on everything. Also, they happen to be in odd places at the same time. They were once in the Podiatry forum posting within minutes of one another.

Coincidence? I think not. Check it our yourself. You couldn't make this stuff up.

It wouldn't suprise me if Gavin is manipulating the Interview feedback too since he is assuming other identities to pimp his school.

My first impression was that MCATAZ was doing a poor job of trying to smear someone. When I opened the links, however, there is indeed an uncanny connection between the two posters. I too got the feelingl that they are one and the same.
 
So what if Gavin is posting under another alias? Is that a crime? I can't say that I blame him considering how nearly everyone of you gang up on him. I woud have probably created another username too. There is nothing wrong with the Arizona school.
 
Its by no means a crime. But it is misleading. If it is true, Gavin's crediablity takes a huge hit.

It raises the question whether students are fudging the responses in the feedback forum. I get the feeling that some are trying to smear the school while others are trying to enhance its reputation. I'm saddened in a way by this thread. If students like Gavin are using subversive tactics then other students are as well. I have less and less faith in what people say on this forum.

The facts he provides about the Arizona school have not changed. I don't see how Gavin's credibility is affected just because he signs on as someone else. This witchhunt had to end. Gavin is one of the most decent and humble posters on here. I think some of you just enjoy bullying the guy. How many times do you see Gavin trying to speak in a condescending manner.

You folks have too much free time. I would defend Arizona if I attend there also. We all have pride in our school. By the way, I still respect Gavin anyway. He did give me lots of useful dental info stuffs. PEACE ON EARTH.

Underneath the lighthearted nature of this thread, there is a more serious issue that needs to be addressed. If someone like Gavin can assume different aliases with the intent of steering applicants to his viewpoint, then the integrity here has been jeaopardized. We truly don't know whether Gavin has taken other measures to mislead applicants. Even recruiting people through less than honest means is a form of deceit.

I'll tell you how Gavin's credibility is affected. I have seen him counter post the AZ negative feedbacks in the interview feedback forum by posting positive ones (It don't care if he was just trying to justify the prior negative posts. The fact still remains that he created interview feedback that was not based on an actual interview occurance.). The next example is the thread that he created titled"Goodbye". This thread was for the purpose of letting others know that he was leaving the forum. This doesn't mean retire your screen name and continue AZ propaganda under another. You see this is misleading and if he can be so on such petty issues such as this then what else.

I am not here to slam anyone in fact, I have listened to much of Gavin's advice in the past. I just feel that he needed to relax a bit on the forgoing issue of the AZ school (curriculum, interview process, etc). Schools get degraded quite frequently on a daily basis and you don't see others taking such personal offense and going out of their way to justify the situation. For example, Temple has taken it on the chin many times because of there poor neighborhood as well as the frequent homeless cleintele. You don't see EcoR1 or other Temple students posting phony interview feedbacks. This is because they know that their school is great in its own way. I have yet to see a dental school out there with 100% approval rating. What Gavin needs to realize is that Rome wasn't built in a day. Respect as well as appreciation for a program comes with years of hard work and a history of successful alumni and not from a couple of threads posted on SDN.

I personally feel that the AZ school will be great in time and that Gavin has as much a right to be on SDN as any of us. But in saying that it is his as well as every other SDNr's responsibility to keep up the integrity of the forum.

I dont know... if dinonuggets is saying things like "Gavin is one of the most respected posters on here, and the most informative", like he did in one post, I believe it does hurt his crediblitity (if they are in fact the same person).
 
I have mixed feelings about Gavin, but at this point mostly negative. I started out liking him quite a bit, he provided sound feedback and advice to a number of people. However, I found him to be very demeaning to people... sort of like he feels he is above everyone else. On many ocassions I felt he bashed people for no reason, maybe he didn't mean to, but he didn't care as long as he provided HIS feedback since it's the most important one around here.

There are other guys who are in dental school like Bill from Indiana who don't have demeaning attitudes. I have read many of Bill's comments and for the most part his comments are sound and he's very helpful without having this demeaning and negative attitude.

I was getting tired that every time there was an interesting thread, Gavin had to have HIS feedback all over the place. Personally it's refreshing to know he's outta here!!
 
It's also funny that "dinonugget" also has an attitude like he knows everything and offers smart alik responses like his counterpart Gavin. hmmmm!!
 
Those threads are hilarious. Gavin is a bit twisted, but he's still a good guy.

The only reason I would want proof (like from a moderator or something?) is to see how you guys would find a way to convince yourselves that the proof is false as well.

You know I was feeling a little guilty for what I did because I know you are a good guy deep down but now you have to post this crap.

Dude, don't pull a Pete Rose and lie to everyone. You have been busted. Don't insult everyone's intelligence and try to deny it. Anyone can see those links and realize that you two are the same person. Nearly every one of your posts are immediately followed by Gavin's even in remote locations like the Podiatry room. And you two agree and compliment each other. It doens't take a genius to put two and two together.

I agree, let's move on. I feel bad that Gavin's credibility has been trashed in a matter of days when he has spent years and thousands of posts to build it. It's kinda depressing.

He's been a good source of info for us all. I think we should give him some more credit. I'd like to continue to read his posts and hear his thoughtful responses, even if I don't agree with every one of them.

I tried to be understanding but lying isn't cool. He has brought a lof of this upon himself. It will take some time before I will trust him again. I couldn't believe he had the nerve to deny it at the last minute. I thought he would be classy and just stay away for a few days.

this happened over a year ago, and although mcataz claimed it was a discussion he and Gavin had, it was infact onetime that initiated it and ended up calming mcataz down (see the "fair enough" post).

i read that thread a year ago and was very interested in it (as I was heading to ASDOH) and when I referred to it today mcataz flipped.

my question to him was why he was bringing up many of the same issues that he had a year ago....

before you pass premature and unfair judgement on Gavin do some research and you will find the truth.

can a moderator come in and clarify that Gavin is not dinonuggets? I mean, this is really not cool...

You created an account on Nov. 28th. That post was in March of last year. In the above link, you claim you are relatively new to SDN which was a month ago. How could you have read that a year ago if you claimed to be new to SDN a month ago?

Since many kept referring to the interview feedback forum, I thought I would have a look. I glanced at the intervew feedback forum I opened the ASDOH section. I saw that the lastl two reviews were posted on the same date. Each had been written within minutes from the other. Neither post was written with great detail It seems as if someone wrote both posts to offset the negative ones. Could this be Gavin's handiwork? It is a possibility. If a person is willing to assume multiple identities then I don't see why he wouldn't tamper with the feedback in regards to interviews. This is truly unfortunate. Students come here with the understanding that members are honest. It is disturbing to think that someone would betray that trust for the purpose of exalting his or her dental college.
 
This is trully a sad day for SDN. Someone many of us respected and thought was honest is turning out to be a total fake. Gavin it's time to take a break from this site. Spend more time with your family and studying. Good Luck!
 
Umm, I'm not dinonuggets.

Accidental is going to lunch with me next week, he'll easily be able to prove that it isn't me.

Dinonuggets happens to be one of my classmates. I'll let he/she divelge their name if they wish to do so, but I won't do it for them.

Henna, the modulator, can easily compare our IP addresses and verify that we are NOT the same person.

And for our super sleuth mcataz, Dinonuggets has posted before under a DIFFERENT name. Go back to your argument from last year.
