How in-depth do we have to (in general) study for GB?

I've been studying biology using Cliff's, but it seems like it covers some stuffs that I haven't learn in any bio classes I've ever took.

Is it better to just memorize the whole thing or can I just know the important stuffs?

Study hard. Don't just memorize. Use Cliffs,ap barrons bio, kaplan bio to supplement your studying. Some things wont even be covered in cliffs. So be careful. Also, do the destroyer and get datqv for practice. There is a thread that someone posted recently about how they got 25 on bio section. Might wanna check it out.

You'll definitely learn things you haven't encountered in class before. I think it's unreasonable to expect to memorize the entire book, but you should absolutely read through it more than once and make yourself charts/diagrams/mnemonics to make sense of the information. Supplementing cliffs with another source is very helpful. I used barrons and a lot of youtube videos. I liked testing my knowledge with qvault and destroyer after familiarizing myself with the topics. My methods landed me a 25 in bio as well.
