In above graph, there are two plateaus - one is Heat of Fusion(melting) the other one is Heat of Vaporization

When we determine which is greater, do we have to consider the length of plateaus? In the case above, Heat of Fusion is greater than Heat of Vap, is it correct?

Need a help! THX 🙂
 
Yepp u got it my friend.
Thats how it is with water, heat of vap is larger than heat of fusion, if u look at the graph for water, the plateau for vap is longer.
