hi all,

is the kaplan whitebook sufficient for attaining scores of 20+ for both gchem and orgo? i also have the 2008 edition of the DAT destroyer..thanks

Get Chad's videos too, and you should be set for around a 20.

edit: Plus do a lot of practice problems. haha

When I took the DAT last year, KAPLAN's blue book did a horrible job for O-chem, simply because it doesn't discuss all the reactions that may show up on the test. What I saw in KAPLAN was a small fraction of all the O-chem reactions one should know for the DAT.

The G-chem section of KAPLAN does a fine job on discussing the topics, but you should complement that with doing lots of problems from destroyer.

Good Luck!

use kaplan to review the basics and your textbooks to help you understand for the questions that will help you out the most you will need to hammer out the destroyer problems inside out and topscore with all these resources you should be in a position to get a 20+. Best of luck.
