Gen Chem 2 Final!

I saw the Orgo 2 thread so i decided to make a gen chem 2 thread. Im taking my final on wednesday.. im hoping to rock it and get a B+ or A- (HOPEFULLY); i got a B in gen chem 1..

so anyone?

What does gen chem II cover? I took Inorganic chemistry to cover that requirement and it rocked my world...

MO diagrams? OMFG!!!
Electrochem?
Nuclear chem?

I am trying to figure out if the two are different or similar.

Isn't inorganic chem an upper level class?

How did you take that without having taken gen chem?

did you skip the first two chemistry courses and labs ...and take 2 courses specifically titled "inorganic chem I and II" ?

I know mine were titled "Gen & Inorganic Chem I and II" but theres an upper level inorganic class as well.

and I remember all three of those topics in my classes! lol

we took the ACS separate, i ended up getting a 55/70, average was a 39 lol

I have my final on thursday...I need a 89 for an A because I got an 84 on the last test. Definitely doable though.

I took General Chemistry I and at my school they STRONGLY encourage us to take Inorganic instead of General Chemistry too. Basically I should have taken C117 then C118, but I took C117 and N330. The advisors say N330 covers everything that med schools want and then some...unfortunately it also destroyed my GPA haha. oops. Last time I listen to advisors huh...

Ah ok, I had to take the ACS as my final exam.. I believe I got somewhere in the 50ish/70 range, don't remember though.

Oh I see. hm, thats interesting...I haven't heard of doing that before, I'm pretty sure I need the year of gen chem as a prereq for the upper level inorganic class at my school.

I did take Gen Chem II for honors, and we did ALOT of upper level inorganic stuff that I hope to erase from memory, so I feel your pain somewhat haha

Hey, I took the ACS last year. 79 raw/78 curved. It is a joke until lab procedures. Study lab procedures.

Physics II tonight and Gen Chem II on Thursday.

I also got a B in Gen Chem I. Lame. Aiming to finish strong! Working 40 hours a week takes its toll, though.
