General chemistry with lab requirement problem

I go to U of T and the 2nd year general chemistry for life science majors has no lab. So do I have to take the general chemistry that chemistry majors take or is it ok to have half general chemistry with lab (from 1st year) and half not.

It is always best to take chemistry/biology course that are intended for chemistry/bio majors rather than non majors.

The chemistry without lab is for biology major/pre meds but the one with lab is for chemistry majors. (the more intense one).

You should simply call the dental schools you're interested and ask, anything you get from anyone on here won't be guaranteed.

How many semester hours was the lab you took? If you go on the Texas ds's websites, they tell you how many semester hours you need to have for gen chem lab.

I have the same problem!
I have taken 1/2 year of CHM139 (General) and 1/2 year of CHM138 (Organic).
I would like to take as few CHM courses as possible (I hate it!) but still meet the requirements. I am looking at McGill as my first choice which requires 1 year of General Chem and 1/2 year of Organic. What course can make up for my other 1/2 of General Chem?!

don't you love Uoft. I might take York's general chem because it probably easier than UTM.
