2-part question, but only need help in answering 2nd part:

First part: An urban gardener buys a 1.0kg bag of ammonium nitrate to fertilize house plants. Compute the concentration of the ionic species present in a stock solution prepared by dissolving 7.5g of the salt in 0.300L of water.

Answer is: 0.31M for both species

Second part: Plants can be badly damaged by solutions that are highly concentrated. A friend of the urban gardener recommends against using fertilizer solutions that are greater than 1.0mM in total nitrogen. How many milliliters of the stock solution from the first part of the problem will be needed to prepare 750ml of 1.0mM fertilizer solution?

ml x N= ml2 x N2

ml(310)= 750 x 1
ml=2.42
