While in my senior year of high school, I took two semesters of general chemistry at a local university and received A's both semesters. Once I enrolled in college as a freshman, I was advised to take two semesters of a more advanced analytical chemistry course before going straight to organic chemistry, and received a B and a B- (first and second semester, respectively). When calculating my science GPA, will medical schools use the A/A grades or the B/B- grades for the chemistry courses?
