General? Course-by-course? too late? HELP!

Hi guys,

i have 3 questions..

1)i went thru a few threads and found out that for NBDE, most people have had their course-by-course evaluation done instead of the General eval. coz the colleges need it when u apply. Did u all do this? will it affect our GPA by any chance? I am not very confident of getting a GPA of 3 and above. So i want to know if im taking a risk.

2)please tell me if the ECE needs notarized copies of certificates. Its not mentioned in their website.

3)I hope to write the exam by May end. Am i late to apply for the evaluation?

1)course-by course will b reqd.once ure done with ur exams & u know u want to apply now.but make sure u send 4 eval.atleast 2mths.before the college deadlines.
2)ece does not req.notarised copies.
3)i realise u havent send ur papers 4 eval.in that case ur not late.but send them as soon as possible & tick on both gen. as well as course by course eval.i hope that clears ur doubts.

Hi Dreamz!
1. I do not think the type of evaluation you request will affect your GPA- it will be the same. If there is a small discrepancy, you can always call them and ask. Getting the course-by-course done initially will save you the hassle and cost of repeating the evaluation again when it is time for you to apply.
2. Call and check about any paperwork requirements- it is usually country-specific.
3. It takes 4-6 weeks ( I think) for a course-by-course, so send it in as soon as you can.

hi balldan, thanks for the reply. i did not understand one thing though...u advised to tick on both general and course-by-course. i thought course-by-course alone wd be accepted by the NBDE to write the exam?? 😕 thanks for ur help, buddy.

U can register for NDBE just by course by course evaluation. There is no need to go for general eval (and pay the extra fee)as the schools require only couse by course eval. hope that helps

I applied to ADA. My course by course evaluation was sent to me and was forwarded to ADA. Now, does ADA contact me letting me know that I can go ahead and register for NBDE p1 or I will have to do something else? thanks

I am a BDS degree holder from India. I want to apply for WES. WES needs the marks list sent from Controller of examination only? Do I need to get it from India or WES also accepts Marks list sent from me. Advice me. thanks guys.
