General Info on Post-bac

Hello!
I'm graduating next winter from UCD, but with my GPA i will not be able to get into Medical School directly. So, what are my possibilities and routes to getting into medical school. I'm more than driven now, and i need to raise my GPA. A few questions:

How does an informal post-bac work?

What classes do i have to take?

Would it better to take it at another UC?

How long does it take?

So, lets say i do raise my GPA while at post-bac and show major improvement, do i have a better chance? Or should i have done a masters program?

You need to post some specifics such as:

What is your GPA?

What was your major and what science classes have you taken?

Have you taken the MCAT? If so, what did you score?

after that you can probably get some useful advice.

My projected cumulative GPA is around 3.3 and my major GPA is around 3.0.
Again, I have not graduated yet, however plan to graduate next Winter as a BIOCHEMISTRY Major. I DID NOT take the MCATs yet.
