How much is genetics used in med school(I hate it)? Also, how much and what level math is used a lot?

We touched on it in BioChemistry, but it may have only been because one of the instructors was heavily involved in genetic research. He was involved somehow with Dolly the sheep, but I wasn't in class to hear what his roll was.

We had a 2.5 month course in genetics following biochem. I don't know if this is the norm, though. As for math, you will use a little of it in physiology (Same level of math used in undergrad gen. chem.).
