Anyone have any thoughts about this program?
I would really appreciate any thoughts on this as well, as I am very interested in applying in the DC area. I've seen good things on scutwork.com. Can anyone add anything about its reputation and the happiness of the residents there?
I interviewed there few years ago, great location but expensive, good faculty and facilities, if the chairman is still there, he's a great guy. My wife ended up matching in a different city so hence, did not go there. in short, if you're looking at a bread and butter place, that's nice program, calls can be excessive (up to 8-10 per month) but pathology is lacking, i.e. most pts are ASA1-2, do hearts ant the Washington hosp. center, Peds at Children's. If you want academics, Hopkins in the way to go. Interviewed there as well, loved it, but rabked them 2 because of where my wife matched. Georgetown didn't grant me interview (their loss not mine, would not apply or rank).Anyone have any thoughts about this program?
