I was completed at GWU on Aug 4 ... no word from them since ... do you think there is still hope? anyone on the same boat?

GWU is a rolling school ... and my file is not onhold *according to the staff* .... seems that many people completed later than i was got invites already ... what does this all mean? any idea??

Yup. I was complete mid-August, and haven't heard anything. Don't really care much anymore tho. Got Tulane, UMD, and Case to choose from. 😳 But it IS very puzzling. Eh...

I was complete in early Oct and hadn't heard anything until last week. They offered me an interview in Jan. Not sure how this will work with rolling admissions, but I'll take it.

Not to be rude, but I bet if people in your shoes would just take some pre-emptive action and withdraw from schools where you would not even accept the interview, then we all might hear a little quicker, no? I understand your point of view though, it's always interesting to see if you get the invite/acceptance, etc.

I'm going to send my withdrawal today.

For me, it's not about the novelty of waiting around just to see if I get an invite. I'm more concerned about making a rash decision about withdrawing from a school that I was obviously interested in when the application process started.

But you are completely right, if those of us who have decided that a particular school is not for us withdraw it could speed up the process for some other people who are still interested. Thanks for giving me a reminder kick in the behind to write the letter. 😉

I hadn't heard a word since my "complete" notification in Sept/Oct, then I received an email on the 1st of Dec asking me to explain a few W's on my transcript. I just got an interview invite for late January by mail (letter dated 6 Dec).
