Y’all please calm down, this isn’t healthy. We all want to get acceptances, but GW hasn’t even sent out IIs yet. They do this every year and every year people freak out. A hold just means that they’ve looked at your application and have scored it for when they do start sending out invites. Same thing happened last year and the year before that.

I honestly did not know that. I know GW places a bunch of people on hold but I thought it was soft R essentially.

Neutral, common, at many schools it just means they will discuss these holds at a committee meeting and select some of you to interview

If the status update says its complete then its under review.

neither, just will have to wait for status later on - could turn into into R or II

Last year they didn’t put me on hold for a while then I got an R. So hold is not necessarily bad.

I'd recommend taking a look at admit.org so you can have more consistent updates on all the schools you're looking at.
