Georgetown Match Lists?

Why are these lists so hard to find?! I can't find a single match list for GT. If anybody has one or can find one, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Nope, not yet! But I may have to... I'm just interested in seeing at least one of the lists before I go to their second-look. It's weird how I can't even find an old one.

Because I'm having a hard time deciding between 2 schools and I believe that I have a right to see their match list... I found the 2012 one on their website, but it's passcode restricted. The whole thing is super sketchy to me.... If they match so well, why is there NOTHING on the internet about their match stats?

School plays a role in where people match, but it's way down the list from things that anyone at any school has control over. The reason why GT "matches well" probably has more to do with the price and the type of student attracted to an expensive, private university on the East Coast rather than anything unique about the curriculum.

I would think the admissions office will give it to you if asked.

Georgetown's list is typically always shared on their public website as .xls documents. This is the first year I've seen that placeholder message, but I have little doubt the list (and prior lists) will be posted in the coming days. Most schools have yet to update their websites (or even to distribute the lists internally). Friday was a big day for everyone, and all-day events may have prevented people from getting back to the office.

I have several friends there and I think you'll be impressed by the results. I agree with Mt Kiliminjaro that, like any match list at an established academic center, it has less to do with the curriculum and more to do with individual choices for the Match.

Here's 2012. Just email Donna Sullivan and ask her for a copy of 2013 and this year. They are usually quite strong. Didn't she pass around the match lists at your interview though? By the way, what school are you comparing it to? GT is REALLY REALLY REALLY Expensive. You are going to be in massive debt!

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. I went through what I was given at my interview and couldn't find anything but a program summary pamphlet and finaid paper. As of right now, I'm comparing it to an equally expensive school (UVM) and then my state school (UCF.) I have other acceptances too, but I think these are my top choices so far (still waiting to hear back from 5 ish schools.) If you don't mind me asking, where are you a student? I'm having a hard time deciding what role finances should play in my decision..
