Hey for those of you who applied to these schools. Can you point out some aspects of the school that you mentioned in their "why our school" essays? I've looked at their web-sites, and can't find anything useful.

ummm...well why DID you apply to them?? I mean, it costs money to do so, and they are but two from 125 you could have chosen...what combination of qualities attracted you? Do they do research you thought was interesting? General reputation (if you want to use that it might be good to cite some specific cases where you have heard of their 'good work')...does their 'mission' tie in with your career/life aspirations?
 
Why you want to go to a particular school seems like a personal thing. If YOU can't think of any reasons (without help) why you should apply, then maybe you shouldn't. Go to the websites (you said you did this), check out their entries in the MSAR, and other guide to medical schools-type books. Look at the type of curriculum, research, location, etc.. If you're applying to these schools as backups and have no interest in actually attending them, maybe you should rethink that.
