Gyngyn is a man who is an academic gynecologist at one of the med schools in California. The reason why he is on SDN, is because he helps premeds like yourself navigate this process. Also how he chooses to spend his free time is entirely up to him. Making unsubstantiated assumptions is never a good idea.

My point exactly. You act like gyngyn and give bad advice masked as good advice.

"Adcoms love when you're up front about your college beer consumption habits in undergrad. It shows honesty and character and is a great topic for your secondary essays."

"If you got a bad grade in intro bio, make sure you explain it was the professor's unfair policies that were responsible"

"A shirtless picture is perfect to submit to a school as long as you are in great shape. It shows you truly value health"

There's only one gym in a 30 mile radius (rural area). Thankfully, it's 24/7 so I can rid my neuroticism anytime I want.

I feel as if SDN premed subforum is a lot like a cage of ravenous lions at a zoo. Someone will throw a big slab of meat for everyone to have a bite of. But after about 5 bites or so from different lions, one lion just bites the hell out of another. A bystander gets offended by this and bites the other lion. Then, in about 20 or so seconds, everone just starts biting the hell out of one another. All the while, the zookeeper who threw the slab of meat in the first place is left confused and unsatisfied. When it's all said and done, everyone is still hungry, the slab of rotten meat is still there, and no one walks away a better person for it.
