Is it true that where you get your DDS does not affect your chances of getting into a residency? It seems that there are a couple of schools that feed alot more of their students into the specialty programs. Is it safe to say these students are getting matched because they scored better on their boards and perhaps have more research? Or, does the name of your school really pull some weight?

if you do well in dental school it won't matter where you go.

btw, how about you worry about dental school BEFORE you start thinking about residencies..
