I know Americans have a problem with this, but how is it in Canada? No uni writes about this on their website, and I know that for example UAlberta says that only 2 years are required. You just need to do the prereqs, they say, and the GPA after 2 years counts. If you do 4 years (a Bachelor's), then the average from the last year plus the year with your highest GPA counts. That's it, nothing about whether a degree is preferred or anything. Does anyone know how this works in practice?

The only schools that do this without an issue are the BS/DDS/DMD programs where you complete the program in 6yrs In the US.
