Has anyone else gotten screwed by the ADA's computer system? I only ask because, as it turns out, their computer system did not register my request to send my DAT scores out to 4 out of 9 of my schools (the ones after my initial 5 schools). I got really curious as to why I wasn't getting any responses from D-schools, even though my application was complete early August, so I called a bunch of schools, only to have it dawn on me that these schools did not receive my freakin' scores...

Luckily, I saved the online receipt for the $25/school fee, so the ADA got right on it... five months after I initially requested....

Sorry guys... I just need to vent

Is there anything I should do? Will schools sympathize with me?

Thanks!

ADA (almost) screwed me over too. My DAT AA was calculated incorrectly. The score was rounded down as opposed to rounded up as it should have been. Apparently, they say that it was a glitch in their computer system and it would have gotten caught before they sent official scores (whatever, right?). The bottom line is that you have to watch your own back. When i was applying I made sure early on that my application wasn't deficient. Many of these schools have thousands upon thousands of applicants, I wouldnt expect them make an exception for you, but I suppose its worth a try-talk to an admissions counselor and explain your situation. Who knows - maybe they'll grant you an interview right then and there.

i'm sorry to hear that. hopefully you've heard back from the original 5 schools already...
