I've been getting secondaries sent to my school address and then they're forwarded to my home address. Can anyone tell me if schools that don't send you secondaries will send you a letter telling you that, or do they just not send you anything at all? Some of my mail has been getting misdirected in the forwarding process (e.g., my Stanford secondary accidentally went to someone down the street b/c the wrong forwarding address was put on the envelope). Thanks in advance for any advice!

It all depends on the school, I guess. All the schools to which I applied sent some kind of notice to me regarding secondaries. However, some schools will send you a letter months down the road indicating that you will not be getting a secondary. For the most part, though, I don't think that the schools will come looking for you if you don't receive something that they sent. You need to keep up with it. If there are any doubts, call the school - I have found most admissions depts. to be very helpful.
