hi friends - first time poster here...

i applied to 45 schools (sent in 45 secondaries - applied very broadly, half middle and half top tier) all by the end of july and have received 3 II's and 2 "hold for re-review"s. i had a 512/3.7sgpa/3.8cumulative and i go to a top 10 USNWR private school with definitely enough of all the required things and more. ORM.

i don't know much about the process but am getting a little anxious, as I haven't heard anything since 1.5 weeks ago... no communication whatsoever and its making me think crazy things. does anyone with more experience know if...

1) i'm overreacting/this is normal
2) i should be worried
3) there is something else i can be doing

thanks everyone for your input!

It has been 1.5 weeks. You already have three II. Some people hear absolutely nothing until January/February. Focus on preparing for your interviews.

in addition to prepping for interviews, is there anything else i can do to help me efficiently pass the time?

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.
