who is planning on continuing raging? ive had 4 years of credit card maxing, case killing, fifth finishing rage as an undergrad and i dont want to stop. ive never had to study very much or even attend class with 18-21 hour semesters and 2 majors, 3.9gpa, so im thinking....if everyone around me is struggling with like 12-15 hours, then how hard can M1 and M2 really be?
also, how many people actually drink 3-4 nights a week on here?

You can't pull it off. I like the fact that now I don't wake up hungover because I know what I have to do the next day and know a hangover will ruin the plan.I try to get out and about on either Friday or Saturday night. I occasionally arrived back at my apartment at 4 or 5 am during my first and second year of med school. Now that I have a girl friend, I am keeping more regular hours which is better for my health. And anyway, lying in bed at noon with a hangover really isn't that much fun, in my experience.
I do not know anyone who gets wasted 3 or 4 times per week. A recipe for disaster at med school. I don't believe that you could actually pull it off, inspite of your bravado.
Haha... right! If you are serious, I'd encourage you to start a blog documenting your fratty Medschool experience. I'd make time to witness your epic failing out of school.

are you trying to impress random strangers on a forum? you just sound like a pathetic frat boy
My friends and I actually do drink 3-4 nights a week, but we never get drunk.
One day, you shall grow up and learn that drinking should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience instead of that jockish "let's-get-****faced" tradition.

While party of me experiences secret joy when I see the weak people, who can't discover ways to release pressure by exercise and certain pursuits like music, turn to drinking, in the end I must be against such a habit.
While my personal goal is to strive for excellence, being in medicine is being part of a collective, with the overall goal of improving society's health.
So, while it may be personally advantageous for me to see my competitors handicap themselves with drug use, in the end, it is a disservice to your future patients, and people who use drugs in med school should be publicly castrated with a rusty spoon.

Honestly, SDN is the first place I've heard "raging" used as a verb and/or a way of life. Maybe I need to "rage" more.
I'm in college. I've partied more than the average kid. Never heard the term rage. Maybe me and my friends are douches? Idk. Just seems kinda stupid. "LETS RAGE TONIGHT GUYS. LETS GET F'ED UP". I mean I'm sure I've "raged" before. But I've never ever used that term.
Maybe me and my friends are douches?
why is everyone so stereotypically mean about greek life? 🙁
OP, was it you that i saw at the bars last night?
keep it up, man. at least someone's keeping the dream they can't remember in the morning alive

I wasn't in a fraternity (even though they desperately wanted me. I would have given them street cred I guess... I had a fairly important role at my college) but generally every frat guy I came across was either a douche, or he was trying to hit on dudes around me, or he was getting drunk off one beer.
poster child for "delusional" iyam
Jealous ^, if you ask me
