Gift for OB Resident Friend?

Sorry if this thread is misplaced, wasn't very sure where to put it, and it's loosely connected with residency so....apologies in advance.

I wanted to get a gift for my friend who recently just started his OB-GYN residency, doesn't have to be anything fancy, and I'm trying to get ideas for things that would be of use to him during his training that he probably hasn't thought to get himself yet. He's been a tremendous help my first two years of medical school, so I'd like to repay the favor. Any ideas for textbooks/reading material/gadgets/etc. that would help him would be nice. Thanks!

You do, it's called the drug rep. I got TeLinde from Stryker, Speroff from Organon, and Williams from Ortho. Just ask next time they are around. At least in my day, they had free books for residents.

At my institution we get a book fund but zero contact with drug reps.
