Your username is quite fascinating. Anyway, to answer your question,
howsabout one of those little glow in the dark skeletons? OK, not exactly useful. Brass balls might be useful but hard to come by (so to speak). I would think maybe a huge $$ gift certificate from B&N or Amazon. There's a ton of reading he'll need to do. Hope this helps.
