Why are you guys so hard on MacGyver when there are far more worse troll than him? Maybe I'm missing something but it just seems like he's proud of his accomplishments, so he's a bit more arrogrant than most of us, but he's contributed some good posts, considering his long history here. Unlike others, I don't think MacGyver is trying to provoke anything negative here. Just doesn't seem like you guys aren't being fair to the poor guy... 😕

First, the two main posts that really pissed people off not only came off as arrogant but did not serve a purpose except to make other people feel worthless. I can remember back in August when I was still trying to get my damn primary verified by AMCAS, worrying day and night (btw, I didn't get verified till Oct 2... I submitted in late JUNE) when this guy posts he has five interviews. Can you imagine how that feels? Second, posting he has five Ivy league interviews or whatever, what is the point of that except to show off. People are having tough enough times in getting into even one medical school and he has to post something like that.

Point: It's great that he has these accomplishments and he should feel proud. But there is no need to brag around here. Heck, I think baylor21 has something like 20 interviews and like 10 acceptances or more and you don't see him bragging.

Thanks for making your point. I'll make mine too: people shouldn't take these posts so seriously that they'd let a stranger on a message board make affect them so much. I thought he was just trying to get a reaction, and boy, did he. The guy has over 300 posts, 2 of which apparently were in bad taste. I think he learned his lesson: don't mess with sdn senior members. Else, you will be branded as evil for life. And you will be the butt of all jokes. Ok, sensitivity training for you, MacGyver. It's all good. Peace.

yeh, piggy, youre right. macgyver is the man. look at all that he's accomplished. he deserves to have his chance to brag. for all those that are just trying to get into one med school, you should regret all the times you spent screwing around and not studying or working hard while macgyver and others were. piggy, u're right, and i support u and macgyver all the way.

No, piggy is not MacGuyver. Piggy hasn't done much wrong besides sticking up for someone that is really disliked, so there's no point in dragging him/her down with him...
