I have an interview tomorrow, and am taking my transcript from last semester (grades that are not on my AMCAS application). Should I only give it to my interviewer if he/she asks, or should I offer it on my own towards the end of the interview? Any advice? 🙂

Don't bother with the interviewer (unless they ask). That's not what the interview is for. Just give it to an Admissions office administrator and ask them to add it to your file. I've seen people do that before.

I've done this with other update information, and I've never had any Admissions people bat an eye. 👍

I would subtly give the interviewee the updated marks (especially if yours were low and there is substantial improvement).

I would do this when she/he asks, "so what you doing currently" (this question inevitably gets asked). Say "oh ya, i am volunteering at blah blah, shadowing at blah blah blah, and taking courses that will enhance my ability to handle med school, here is a transcript to show you I am doing pretty well last semester". [subtly open up folder and hand it to her]...then say, "you can look at those marks later...but I want to tell you I am ready for med school!!!!". This way the transcript isnt the focus of your interview, and gives her something to be impressed later after the interview is over...

Caution: I would send that transcript to the school also. Lots of times all the interviewee gives the committee is a letter about your interview performance...so the adcoms might not have the transcript you gave the interviewee

Yeah, I think it's normal and expected. But if you give it to your interviewer, they may or may not take the initiative to put it in your file. Better to be safe than sorry and give it to the secretary. I've never talked about grades with a single one of my interviewers (20+ of them).
