Ok,

So I have 3 recommendations:

1.) Anatomy Professor who I basically TAed for (not the official TA)

2.) Topics in Respiratory Physiology prof.

3. Sociology of Healthcare prof.

The first one gave me a huge list of questions like "convince me on why I think you should be my doctor" which is excellent. He's the director of a department so he's really good at that. The second and third have let me decide. I want to give all of them some standard information but I want the letters to be different. For example, I don't want all of them to list my service activities and etc. I want my anatomy prof to highlight my teaching experience and academic potential, my physio prof to highlight my work ethic, thoughtfulness (he said it himself), and academic potential, and my sociology professor to make note of my interest in the subject and my service opportunities and how I applied stuff from the class to those activities.

Can I tell them what I want or is that too demanding?

I just don't want 3 letters that all say the same exact thing haha.

Also this may sound stupid but my Anatomy professor on his first question (which I'm procrastinating on) asks me why do I want to be a doctor. That's pretty much similar to my personal statement. I'm a bit worried that it won't look good if the letter just matched my personal statement. Should I write in a different way. (This will probably end up happening as writing it for my prof will be like a nice rough draft and then hopefully my PS will be polished)

If you want them to address different areas, then man up and tell them to address the specifics you went over here. No need to be shady, I am sure they will understand.
