Has anyone used this program? If so, is it helpful?

I'll sell you mine for $40.

Haha, so not helpful?

I didn't have the interactive CD. I borrowed the DVD from the library and found that it was helpful to envision the different types of colic during our horse case.

... Of course, if you're not like me and actually purchased a decent equine anatomy book or have the slightest imagination so you can envision things like renosplenic ligaments, the glass horse will just be redundant (or maybe even inadequate??).

I don't have any equine anatomy books and this was conveniently on the bookshelf.

I thought it was really useful, especially since I'm not large animal inclined. It really helped me with colic.

Note that he said nothing about whether it was helpful or not. :d

Lol, actually I couldn't work out the meaning of the thread and thought it was non-sensical. Then you posted something about snot going at $80 so I was thinking I could undercut you and make some money.

I still have no idea what this thread is about.

Because I've never used it, and get a kick out of it every time I see it...

Please don't think I'm being cheeky! I really just think lmgtfy is funny 😛

High five, sbc! Haha. Hopeful, anatomy may have fried your brain. But we love you jsut the same.

And for anyone confused, snot is two letters away from the word I'm not allowed to use. 🙂

..... It took me a good minute and a half to figure out what word that was. I was going through the alphabet to see what fit. Clearly, the admissions committee picked the best and brightest 🙂.

ive heard that it was really useful but for the price i'm not sure....i also dont know how much time ill have to use it!! neeeed morrre timmme

Not sure if it's the same program I've played with. Does it look like it would run on Win 3.1 and is pretty much focused on the guts? If so, I didn't find it particularly helpful for what I was wanting. Too limited - it was just the intestines.

So I'm procrastinating...but I really like the CD's. Vets I have worked for had them in their clinic and would often show the CDs to owners (espeically with soft tissue injuries and the distal limb one). Essential? No. Amusing and cool? Yes. I need like 6 different visual aids to learn one concept so it helped me! I used it in the library, but ended up buying one in the spring!!
