In a question explanation for Kaplans online final, it says " glucose is an indirect input into Calvin cycle, not an output ". But it acknowledges PGAL as output.

I don understand. Ideas?

PGAL is generated by the calvin cycle, 2 per each turn. Once 12 of them are made (6 turns), they can be used to make a molecule of glucose and recycle RBP to do more cycles. The product is actually PGAL and glucose is only made when there are enough PGAL.

Hope that makes sense.
