Glycolysis/Krebs/Electron Transport Chain.. how in depth?

Do we need to know all the steps of these cycles or just main points as what produced, reduced, oxidized, final electron acceptor, inital substrate, end products etc.

Has anybody ever had indepth DAT questions asking about a specific step? Thanks

i had one that asked me about the intermediates of glycolysis!! anything is fair game!

yeah, when i got home I found that i guessed the right answer!! lol

remember as well, the chances of you getting that question may happen or may not. it seems that it pulls from a database of questions. funny things is, my girlfreind got the same question about the intermediates and we bothed guessed it lol, but i think she got it wrong. hahaha

Yea if you have a chance, take biochem in college. All the glycolysis, ETC, Kreb cycle stuff will be easy then. I took it last semester and now that i am studyin for DAT, it helps a great deal to understand it.

yea, I was a biochem major, but I've been out of school now for 2 yrs and only have 2 months to relearn everything, trying to figure out how in depth things need to be
